Adoro a Primavera! / I love Springtime!

Esta semana optei por usar as figuras do my OTW planner S para desenhar looks primaveris de escritório. No primeiro desenho surge a ideia de flores aplicadas, que pode ser um excelente exercício de DIY (faça você mesmo)... 

This week I chose the figures in my OTW planner S to draw vernal office looks on. The first drawing shows applied flowers that could be an excelent DIY exercise...

my OutaThisWorld planner M:

No Planner M desenhei roupas a pensar nas novidades que já estão nas lojas. Sobrepor peças primaveris a calças ou saias de ganga, pode ser uma maneira de adaptar o outfit às variações de clima que  são típicas nesta altura do ano.

On planner M the sketches came from thinking of the new clothes in stores. To overlay vernal garments on jeans (either trousers and skirts) may be a nice way of making the clothes fit in the typical weather variations that occur in this time of year.

my OutaThisWorld planner L:

Uma das fortes regras para esta Primavera é o uso de padrões florais. As mulheres de tamanho L devem prestar atenção e usar o olho mais crítico quando optarem por estes padrões; flores mais pequenas são mais vantajosas. Uma novidade a aproveitar é o poncho colorido em crochet de algodão. 

One of the "must" for the Spring is the use of flower prints. Women of size L should be careful and open the critic eye when wearing these prints; smaller flowers are more flattering. Something to take advantage of is the "poncho" in colourful cotton crochet.

O cinzento é uma cor ideal para valorizar todas as outras. Aproveita as cores fortes da nova estação e conjuga com peças cinzentas, dando um ar de Primavera mas sem esquecer que as temperaturas ainda convidam ao uso de roupa quente.

Grey is the ideal colour to value all the other. Make use of the strong colours for the next season and match them with grey clothes, give it a Spring look but also remember that temperatures are still inviting for the use of warm garments.

Padrões animais podem ser uma grande dificuldade para muitas mulheres e, por isso, achei por bem deixar aqui algumas sugestões. Seja em transparências, opacos, veludos ou malhas, os estampados que imitam as peles de animais conferem força a qualquer look. Uma dica: acessórios simples! 

Animal prints can be a problem for many women, so I decided to leave some ideas in here. In tranparencies, opaques, velvet or jersey, animal prints bring power into any look. A hint: plain accessories!

Eis duas maneiras de favorecer figuras maiores! Roupas em tecidos com dégradé de tonalidades podem ser grandes aliados quando usados para equilibrar os volumes; as partes mais escuras onde se tem o corpo maior e partes mais claras onde é preciso aumentar a ideia de volume.

As riscas não têm que ser tradicionais e podem ser muito úteis para dar formas a um corpo volumoso e sem curvas. 

Here´s two ways to flatter larger figures! Clothes in "dégradé" fabrics can be of good help when used to balance volumes; darker shades on larger areas of the body and lighter shades on where you need volume.

Stripes don't have to be tradicional and can be useful in shaping a larger and curveless figure.

Para os desenhos usei as figuras do my OutaThisWorld planner - M, para corresponder ao tamanho da modelo (Carolina). Depois, fui desenhando as roupas que ela tinha no armário e compondo os conjuntos como me pareceram melhor. No fim pedi-lhe que vestisse as roupas conforme eu as tinha desenhado. Este foi o resultado!

For the drawings I used the figures in my OutaThisWorld planner - M, to match the model size (her name is Carolina). Then, I kept drawing her clothes and composing the pieces as I thought was better. To finish, I asked her to dress exactly like in the drawings. This was the result!

No supermercado / At supermarket

Ora cá vamos nós para mais uma semana de outfits! Desta vez fomos buscar a inspiração à secção de frutas e legumes do supermercado... Porque a moda também é divertida e já vai apetecendo um cheirinho a Primavera!

And here we go into another week of outfits! This time we went for inspiration at the supermarket's fruits & vegetables area... Because fashion is also fun and we're already up to a little sent of Springtime!

Começamos com as flores que se assumem em padrões grandes e pequenos, em tons pastel e misturadas com peças em crochet, algumas transparências e rendas discretas.

We start with flowers showing out either in small or large patterns, in pastel colours and mixed with crochet pieces, some transparencies and discreet lace.

my OutaThisWorld planner M:

Para aquecer os dias que ainda se apresentam frescos apostamos em cores frutadas que conjugamos com peças mais escuras.

To warm up these still cold days we bet on fruit colours and we unite them with darker clothes.

my OutaThisWorld planner L:

Quem disse que a sopa não é uma boa inspiração? Cenouras cor-de-laranja, espinafres de verde escuro e beringelas entre o rôxo e o bordeaux, combinam-se na perfeição para formar looks fortes.

Who said soup is not a good source of inspiration? Orange carrots, deep green spinach and eggplants in between purple and bordeaux, all combine perfectly to compose strong looks.

E já agora, metam umas flores numa jarra para alegrar a casa, comam fruta e legumes em vez de bolachas e... tenham uma óptima semana!

By the way, take some flowers to brighten up your home, eat fruits and vegetables instead of cookies and... have a great week!
